Making mGSD TiddlyWiki Readable During Editing
Friday, August 17, 2012, Modified: Saturday, August 18, 2012 Refs

This tip may apply if you have a white on black system colour scheme but allow your browser to choose its own colours for web pages.

Open your tiddlywiki in vim. Search for this section:

!StyleSheet
/*{{{*/

[[MptwTheme##StyleSheet]]

.header2 {

Above the line .header2 { Inject this:

/* Set the foreground colours so I can read stuff: */
textarea {
	color:black;
}
input {
	color:grey;
}
The reason for needing this is that the mGSD tiddlywiki sets its background colour light explicitly but does not set its text colour for input forms. This causes the text to default to the system-defined colour. If that is dark, all good. If it is light, text disappears into the background.
